  1. That’s a fascinating and informative video about marriage customs in Lincolnshire, England during the 17th century! Are you writing an article about Lincolnshire and if so which side of your family traces back to there? I first found your site a couple years ago when I was researching my husband’s maternal line, and I happened to stumble upon it when I was researching various different Thomas Smiths from Surry County, Virginia. I’ve been hooked to your site ever since and enjoy reading your articles about the various lines in your tree. I’m still surprised your haplogroup is J-M267 as that’s extremely rare among White Americans.

Continue having fun digging your roots!

This video is a new thing I’m trying, to provide additional context to the articles I’m writing. This was to support the latest article for William Smith & Lincolnshire.
